How have you been?? Long time, no see and today never seen. You have been on every table in every one’s mouth in the past. Today you have just vanished like a drop of dew in the morning.
You were one among all, who would stand proudly on every shelve, big or small, rich or poor, strong or weak. You would manifest yourself in different forms more than Guru Tshengye, depending on your mood, in powder form, in solid form, in expensive form, in cheap from. Whatever,
your manifestation may be,your presence is always there as a whole, partial or in minute form. You don’t any spare politicians, man wearing robes in the Dzong and Monasteries, poor cobblers sewing shoes, farmer farming in the field, hunters pouching wild animals.
You have in fact penetrated in every nook and corner. Bhutan has never been colonized or has been under any country despite of being small and under developed as far as history is concerned. But you are the only one who could defeat the toughest man, tame the most wildest woman, lure the most beautiful lady, influence the most poorest people, convince the most powerful figures including the ministers, senior civil servants, order the most powerful and dedicated military of Bhutan to use you and take you as their companion at all times.
You were the one, who made the bars, restaurants, party halls, and entertainment centers success. You were the one, who would not hesitate to accompany the mad and drunk party goers, peaceful and social people, furious and dangerous gangs, the voracious drug abusers and self taught thieves.
You were the one, who would find a place to be during the merry making, during the odd times, during the most peaceful times, during most unfortunate times. In deed you were only the one who would console the death, cherish the happy moments, relaxes the tired man and greets almost every one you meet early in the morning and also bids good night for the same person almost every night.
However, slowly, some of your friends realized that you are doing more harm than good. They wanted to get rid of you. You understood that and since then, it has been over half a decade, you started to be unavailable, often hiding yourself from the open scenes, not accompanying many of your lovers and fans. You tend to hide in the most secret places wherever you are, when in group. But when you are alone, you would still come in open but bit hesitatingly. When someone, who does not like your presence, arrives, you try to tell lie that you are only for him/her but often you are accused of being a liar by these people. Somehow, you have survived for half a decade hidden in group. In fact, reports revealed that you were becoming more visible in recent times till a few days back.
Today, you have in fact, disappeared and hidden yourself from seen by anyone except very few who are most trusted and loyal to you. I hope, you would slowly leave Bhutan and settle in a place where you think is safe and peaceful. I know Bhutan is a land of Gross National Happiness and one of the smallest yet peaceful. But I tell you, you are already defeated by the Gross National Happiness and he does not want to let you accompany people in Bhutan for long period of time. So please, let me tell you honestly, try to flee as soon as possible before someone in Bhutan is imprisoned for three to five years for letting you accompany him. You know I neither hate you nor love you but I really feel sorry for the person who loves you more than their friends, their family, to some extent more than themselves, because you fetch good price.
