Bhutan hit by an Earthquake yesterday

Bhutan was again reminded of the Earthquake which hit the country in 2009 when an earthquake measuring 6.8 magnitude hit Bhutan again on September 18, 2011. However, as  it was fortunate that so far no casualty was reported. The National Broadcaster BBS reported that there was no casualty reported as of now.

Although, there was no report of casualty, it has caused cracks and damages to home and structures in the country. The Prime Minister, Lyonchen has updated the report on his facebook account highlighting the preliminary report caused by the Earthquake.
