Be alert and lets be content

From my Facebook Post Thank you Mumbai police for the vigilance. Lets all spread the message to our friends and relatives, this modern world is not safe anymore particularly for women and children and always discuss with other people and verify things before it goes terribly wrong. It's very fortunate that our girls were rescued before they got into the lifelong slavery of human flesh and untraceable.
We as Bhutanese seemed to have a habit of hiding everything particularly when we want to try for something abroad thinking that, we would be embarrassed if we don't get. As a result, we often fall victim to many scams and false promises.
It is also because sometimes we tend to trust few people so much thinking that they are genuinely helping us. Unfortunately, some of them breach our trust and derive profit at the cost of other's misery and sufferings. Where is our Buddhist value of Karma as Bhutanese?
Going by the report, this is a well-organized crime coordinated among supposedly labor agents of other countries and some of our own people completely drenched in greed even at the cost of luring our own people into lifelong, inescapable slavery of human flesh in another country. If our own people are involved, and reports are true, such person must be given the harshest punishment and government must seize everything that person has to send a strong message. I am sure, believing the report to be true, our Royal Bhutan Police HQs Thimphu   National Commission for Women and Children - NCWC, Bhutan RENEW will work together to combat such crimes ever happening in our country.
This is a very dangerous trend as every Bhutanese today find the other side always greener and in search of their fortunes and dreams of earning huge in the shortest possible time, often decide to embark on unforeseen future. Many seem to feel that, it is so easy to make lots of money outside not realizing the hardships and sacrifices made by those already in another country to make some fortune and go back with their heads held high.
It is also because, our politicians while worked hard to make their entitlements adequately enough for them to survive well and comfortably, they have failed to look at the larger interest of the nation and our young people and future of the nation. I am sure, with our new, young and dynamic politicians, hope to see better decisions during their term to keep their promise of serving the nation and people keeping aside their own benefits.  The visible gap between have and have not is ever increasing with some earning less than $100 dollars a month while some earn high as $1000 dollars, increasing inflation, living expense and scarcity of jobs have further fueled such extreme measures.
It is nothing wrong in planning and earning a lot but we should be little careful and vigilant of what we do and we won't lose anything by discussing with our friends and if necessary verify with relevant agencies before we make the mistake.
