Convocation at RIM

One of the most events in the calender is the annual convocation. This year the convocation is to take place on 15th July 2009. More than sixty post graduate diploma student and diploma students. This is on the indicators and a step forward in RIM's achievements. It is an indication that royal institute of Management is greatly contributing in the socio economic development of the country. To celebrate the event in a more elaborate manner, all the present PG students are preparing various cultural activities. update 14.07.2009 More than 80 trainees despite of bright sun and high intensity, took keen interest and enthusiasm in rehearsing for the upcoming Convocation at RIM. The Director, Registrar and other concerned lectures despite busy schedule took the time to observe the rehearsal. This is done to stage and entertain the guest and trainees coming for the convocation tomorrow. Every one in the institute is looking forward for the august occasion tom. The Minster of Labour and Human Resources will grace the occasion tomorrow. Meanwhile, The Prime Minister Lyonchen Jigme Yozer Thinley paid a visit to the institute yesterday evening. Updated on 13th July 2009 The much awaited 13 Convocation for the RIM was began with the Marchang Ceremony this morning. The Labour and Human Resources Minister Lyonpo Dorji Wangdi was the chief guest. More than 200 students received the Khadhar and Certificate from the chief guest. 34 completed their course in Post graduate Diploma in Public Administration, 35 in Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management and 2 in Post Graduate Diploma in National Law. About 100 diploma holders in Financial Management, Gewog Accountant, Information Systems, National Law. After the awarding of the certificate, a cultural programme was organized by the RIM Cultural Committee. The celebration ended with the Tashi Leybay and a lunch hosted by RIM for all. To be contd.
