Darkness in the Dawn only after 370 years: Total Solar Eclipse 2009

It was early as 5:00AM, hundreds of the people from Asian Countries are not in mood to sleep this morning. People in India, China, Philippines, Japan are eagerly waiting for the first ever longest total solar eclipse which was expected to occur at 6:AM. Although Bhutanese people are the most inactive especially in the morning to get up early in the morning changed and everyone got up as early as 5:00 AM most glued to Live Telecast of this event by Bhutan broadcasting Service, the only public telecast in the country. Hundreds of tourists who arrived in the country to see the total eclipse are even more anxious about the event, but the weather did seemed to disfavor these enthusiasts. Thank God, the blessing of the god, when the total eclipse was about to occur, the weather became cool, bright and free of clouds. BBS anchor, Dawa was repeatedly reminding the general public not to look at the Sun directly as instructed by the health officials. Outside the memorial chhorten, hundreds gathered to pray and recite Baza Guru. Kurims and prayers also performed at various monasteries, Fortresses and temples across the country to observe the day. It is believed that since this is an auspicious day being the 30th Day of the Month. It is further believed that if prayers are recited during such event, (Solar Eclipse) the blessing and cleansing is most than other days. There was also reverberating sounds of prayers are heard through the BBS television and radio. Hundreds of children were seen outside their homes to see the eclipse by taking a water in a bowel considering the health effects on the human eye. Infact, this is one of the only moments that this generation of people will see such in their life time. As result, the Ministry of Education declared this year as the year of Scientific Year. The event occurred as exaxtly as predicted by the astrologers as well as the scientist around the world.
