Do you Believe me? ask Yangchen over a phone to Tshering. Tshering replied, yes oye, sure? She then ask by how much? you can mention in percentage. Tshering replied honestly about 95%. Oh, really said Yangchen with little bit of amazement. Tshering then asked Yangchen, why, you don't believe me? Yes, I do replied Yangchen, about 5%.
Tshering knew the reason and said to Yangchen. Its fine, I know you ladies will not believe it. The conversation continues for another half an hour and Yangchen finishes her voucher and both bids goodnite and sweet dreams.
Tshering leans on his bed for a while and recollects what Yangchen said to him. He asks himself, why she does not believe me? I told her all the truth but she seems to understand the other way. He knew the reasons. Today, many men lure girls and ladies with a lot of empty promises like the politicians luring the voters of development. Most the party manifestos and promises by the great politicians remain on paper and never comes into action. So does the men to their beloved sweethearts.
Some men just in want of satisfying their lust for sex, they at times lure the innocent girls so badly and so confidently. But at last does not leave their foot prints and desert them, ruin them and make them suffer them like animals. He never realizes these instead some even boast of what they have done and say that his girl friend does indeed deserve it. Tshering recollects all these and knew that Yanchen will not believe him at the moment. Its not her ego, nor her mistake, not her inability but her conscience telling her to be more careful in dealing with men. Indeed, Tshering smiles for a while and appreciate for Yangchen's not believing him, because she has a reason to not to believe him. He laughs silently and think that wow! this lady is no stupid fellow but an intelligent one.
Now, he is in delima how to convince her that what he said was true and she has a reason to believe him. He does not have any solid proof so that she believe him for what he is saying. He wished that she could silently enter into his heart and feel what he is thinking of her. He wished that she could feel him and understand how he wants her to know him. He wishes that if his heart is a glass so that she could see him what he thinks of her when she meets him. He wishes that if ever she would know what he thinks about her, her gentle and soft voice over the phone, her gentle laughs through the air and enters his ear. The only wish that could become a real for Tshering is that wait and let her one day know what he actually thought of Yangchen and she gives a big cheers for his thought and appreciate him and be with him forever.Yet that is still a dream and wish for him.
The only reason for Tshering to worry is that if she ever fails to understand him and leaves him like a sand in the sea as island inhabitated by anyone which will cause him misery and suffering. This is because he did experience the same. Someone did not realize and understand him and thats why she left for another one keeping him behind with a lots of sufferings and misery. Will this again happen to Tshering, and leave alone still remains uncertain and one may only know if ever that day comes.
