Eastern Dzongkhags, bad time again as a strong windstorm hits them.

Before the wounds of the September 21 Earthquake in the eastern part of the country got healed, they were again hit by windstorm this week. According to a BBS report, a 38-year-old woman was injured and is being treated at the Trashigang hospital. The report also says that some   13 houses in Yangneer, five houses in Uzorong, seven in Kanglung, one in Samkhar, 12 in Shongphu and 15 in Phongmey were damaged,  some partially and some completely. 

 There are also reports that some houses in Tashi Yangtse were also damaged by the event and also caused a heavy downpour due to the windstorm destroying crops in Mongar. BBS report  stated "As immediate relief, His Majesty granted Nu. 5,000 to the injured woman in Trashigang. Tarpaulins are also being distributed to families by the Dzongkhag."
